The store Michaels has fake pumpkins every year for the fall season. A few weeks before Halloween they go on major sale and this is when I bought it last year. So each year we cut out felt or foam as a face and use tape to affix them to the pumpkin. This year we used foam and Benjamin actively helped cut the shapes out. He loves it and we don't have to deal with goopy glop from a real pumpkin. Maybe when they are older we will embrace that one!

That's neat. So you don't get real pumpkins then? I know last year we painted the outside of the pumpkins, but this year we're going to carve them again. I am wanting to cook some seeds.
