Shamrock pancakes - Day 214

My kids love pancakes. We make them for breakfast at least 3 times a week. I got bored with plain old round pancakes. I wanted to get creative. I bought a mustard bottle from the dollar store and cut the tip off. I use a funnel and pour the pancake batter in it. Then I paint shapes on my skillet. It is so fun. So for St. Patrick's day cheer, I made green shamrocks. The boys love them and Ben keeps asking for them!

Those are so adorable. I can't believe how ambitious you are with breakfast! Anything other than toast or cereal seems like too much work that early, lol. Adorable pancakes. I bought those bottles about a year ago and tried to use it, but my batter always has lumps in it and got stuck even though I trimmed the top off. I did use bisquick as the base and maybe if I just did homemade pancakes it wouldn't have those lumps, I'll have to try that.

Super great idea! I was going to do green eggs and ham for st. patty's but that idea looks much simpler. :)
