So To help me keep track I am using a website my sister-in-law showed to me.
You sign up for free and then you can track everything you eat AND what exercise you do throughout the day. That way you know how much you can eat and how much you need to work off. They also have a section where you calculate how much you want to loose and it is tied to the calorie counter.

I used that website when I was trying to gain weight with the twins. It's pretty cool. I like that it tracks your usual meals so you can just enter the same one easily. Good luck!
I just love that site!! It's so user friendly. That's neat you have a group that you're competing with. What do you get if you win? I thought you were already eating super healthy, so I chuckled a little when you said you started eating better. (:
