Waiting....

So I finally took the time to take photos of the finished projects I made for Benjamin. I made a curtain, a blanket, and a floor cushion that will act as his changing pad. I absolutely love how they all turned out. The blanket in the photo is folded up, but it is big enough to fit in a full size crib. I am sure there will be more photos later. My mother got me the bassinet and I think it fits perfectly. I am living in my brother joe's old room. It is perfect that I am having a boy, because the room is painted green and has tree frogs everywhere. There is a book case next to the bed and I have lined it with totes that house my new baby things. It looks so organized that I am going to finish the rest of the shelves with totes and post more photos later. I found an idea on Martha Stewart.com where you take a shoe rack that hangs on the door and use it for every day things. I chose to house bath and other hygiene necessities inside. It looks better in person. Well I am now officially ready for this baby to come. Daniel already has a plane ticket and my suitcase is already packed for the hospital. Now it is just a waiting game...

You went post crazy today I can't keep up! Thanks for posting the pictures of the baby stuff you made. It is SOOO stinkin' cute! Good job! I'm impressed! It all looks very organized and ready. Don't you love bins? I got one for her toys. You're inspiring me to make curtains. I don't know if I'll give in quite yet. I've been a bit too enthusiastic getting the baby's room ready.

I can't seem to make myself pack my bag...everything I want to put in there I use all the time. I have to go buy a nursing nightgown/robe... The baby's bag is all ready. I guess I'll pack my bag today since I'm due so soon. I'm just afraid it will make me too anxious.

PS I'm a closet Twilight reader. Which means I've read them but I wouldn't call myself a fan. They do hook you but as I read them I tend to edit for her. She used to live in Matt's parents ward so my mother in law got me signed copies. Aren't you jealous?

I love, love, love how everything looks! Your sewing projects look great in the room and I see Joe's little project is hanging as well. I love the totes and the shoe hanger. Great ideas!! Don't you just love getting organized? i love it!! Good for you, I didn't know you had your suitcase packed!! I packed a rolling pin in case I wanted David to use it when I had back labor. They say a tennis ball works good as well for counterpressure. We tried using the tennis ball, but I was on the birthing ball at the time and I felt like he was pushing me off, anyway, they're just options just in case.
